Drove for about 30 minutes to get here. The service was fast and pleasant. Lighting was nice and it smelled delicious. I ordered the seafood gumbo and my lady ordered the fried chicken plate. Sides were Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and collard greens. First off the portion size is very generous. It justifies the $30+ plates. The seafood was plentiful the flavors were good. It's not Nola level but it is very good. The sides were average. I would not recommend the greens. The sweet Arnold Palmer was amazing. It was pretty good and I'd recommend it if you want some southern cooking.

Absolutely the best service! Lauren was our server for a group of 8, she was awesome. The drinks never got empty, the drinks were fantastic. The food was excellent too, the appetizers were delicious. I think we ordered all of them! The steaks, the meatloaf, the fish and burgers were all excellent! Ask for Lauren, she's the BEST!

This place is great, the bar is cozy and drinks are reasonably priced. We started with the deviled eggs which were very good, but the bacon on top stole the show. For dinner we had the gumbo for dinner which was loaded with seafood and delicious, the wife had jambalaya which she also reported as very good. Will return next time I'm in the area!

We've had the same thing twice in a row because it's so good, their chopped salad with a blackened chicken breast, best chicken I've ever had prepared this way! Also had the cornbread which was amazing!!

If you're looking for a top-notch meal, the gumbo here is an absolute must-try! It's packed with flavor and definitely stands out. There was some sort of ice cream/cobbler looking dessert that we were too full to try but looked amazing. The band was great, though a bit loud at times, but it added to the lively atmosphere. The ambiance was perfect for a fun night out. I highly recommend coming here - you won't be disappointed!

All I can say is this is My New Favorite Place for Salmon & Steak! It was the most perfect steak I've ever had! Cooked to perfection! The jerk Salmon cooked perfectly I put sauce on the side, but I can't believe it took so long to come in‍, GREENBEANS IN A TOMATOE SAUCE OMG THE MAC BUBBLY HOT & DELICIOUS it is over my budget, but everywhere else is such a disappointment, for steak and fish, and just as costly...SO COME IN AT Leroy's, the meals can serve 2. We took home half of our food. And DON'T forget dessert, the 3 Layer Chocolate Cake I DID NOTICE ANOTHER LOCATION FOR LEROYS AT FISHERMAN VILLAGE CANT WAIT! AND I need to meet the owners or chef and Fist bump! The collard greens are gonna be on my plate next visit!!!

Lawd! This spot was beyond amazing! It was a whole vibe and the food was delicious. I've never had ox-tail before and was always hesitant to try it. Well this made me a believer. It was so rich and succulent, melt off the bone, full of flavor deliciousness. This is a must try if you're in the area.

Atmosphere: Home town feeling where locals and people from out of town seem like they have known each other for a long time. Customer Service: Hit or miss. Depends on who you get and the mood they're in at the time you go in to eat or have a drink. I've had great service and times I didn't want to come back. I'll order pick up next time. Menu selection: There is something for everyone. Food Quality: Highest of quality and they support local businesses to support the menu. Price point value:Expect tourists prices, food price is average for the area. Expectation vs reality: Exceeded expectations by leaps and bounds. The food was exceptional. I actually brought my wife into town to experience this place as I was in town completing contract work in response to the hurricane. I would most definitely recommend to all visitors and locals that have not been.
